CrossFit.com is THE mainsite, the place where it all started. Videos of workouts, movements, journal articles- everything is here and the vast majority of it is free. Any serious CrossFitter will find themselves referring to the mainsite over and over again. Icons that link to the mainsite and journal are below.
PsychSanDiego is co- owned by Alessandra Wall Ph.D., wife of Leon Chang and an avid CrossFitter herself. | Why is everything in a class format? What if I want to train alone? |

Q: Why is everything in a class format? What if I want to train alone? A: Here at CrossFit Elysium, we refer to ourselves as an “all-coaching facility”. What this means is, at every class you will be getting personal, semi-private instruction throughout the workout. We don’t simply put on music and let you wander around aimlessly. The reasons for this are myriad, but chief among them is what we do is COMPLICATED. You need a coach guiding you. Hell, you’re paying for it! If you want true results, you need to have proper application of the fundamentals and a structured class ensures that. In addition, you’ll find that working out in a class environment tends to be very rewarding. Our members push themselves that much harder when working out alongside other people. Furthermore, they encourage each other to do their best, no matter what their fitness level. Lastly, they make such strong bonds and friendships that carry over to outside the gym, like social events, helping each other move, babysitting for each other, and so on! All of these are benefits that come from the class environment. If you’re just a private person and want to work out on your own, we offer individual sessions during off-hours where a coach will (must) be present. Contact a coach for more info. |
