CrossFit.com is THE mainsite, the place where it all started. Videos of workouts, movements, journal articles- everything is here and the vast majority of it is free. Any serious CrossFitter will find themselves referring to the mainsite over and over again. Icons that link to the mainsite and journal are below.

CrossFit Fenway is a new affiliate in Boston, MA started, operated and owned by our friends JT Scott and Steve Rast. If you're ever in the Boston area you have to check them out.

PsychSanDiego is owned by Alessandra Wall Ph.D., wife of Leon Chang and an avid CrossFitter herself. Dr. Wall specializes in anxiety and eating disorders and plans to offer her assistance to our clients who wish to address the psychological component of weight loss.

Bring a friend to class next week, and referral bonuses!

Next week Tues and Thurs (6/1 and 6/3) will be "bring a friend to class" days. Have a friend who's been on the fence about CrossFit? Want to show them how awesome and instructive the classes can be? Well, this is a great chance to introduce them to CrossFit Elysium for FREE! We'll run a regular class that anyone will be able to participate in and your friends will get a chance to see what badasses you've all become.

In addition, the month of June is "referral bonus" month for our athletes. Any person you bring in who signs up will be considered a referral. At the end of the month, we'll add up everyone's referrals. Anyone who brings a new athlete in will get a 20% discount on their next month of dues. The person who brings in the MOST referrals will get 50% off their next month! Let's see how many new members we can bring in!

It's Paul's Birthday! See if you can figure out how old he is. The time cap is a suggestion only- there should be enough time in the class to finish the wod, even if you go beyond the cap.

Congratulations to Paul, and the 5/10 WOD

Congratulations to Paul who took 34th in the CrossFit Games Southwest Regional Qualifiers this past weekend! For those of you who don't know, this region was comprised of the best of the best athletes from all of the Southwest US (CA, AZ, HI, etc), all people who had qualified from their own sectionals. To even qualify for the regionals is a feat in itself. The Southwest region is arguably the toughest region on the planet, as CA is the birthplace of CrossFit and boasts more affiliates than any other region in the world. Paul has distinguished himself as the 34th fittest man in this entire region by CrossFit's standards. We are lucky to have him as a coach. Lots of pictures to follow!

Warmup: CF warmup x 1

strength: press 3 x 3 reps.

metcon- "Elizabeth"

For time- 21-15-9 reps of 135/95lb squat clean and ring dips.

These are full squat cleans, from the ground each rep. Post loads and times to comments.

Make sure your Elysium Shirts are clean and sport them at the event!
ALSO... does anybody have a big folding event tent? If we have enough people it may be a good idea to set up a place for everyone to relax out of the sun.
