PsychSanDiego is co- owned by Alessandra Wall Ph.D., wife of Leon Chang and an avid CrossFitter herself. Dr. Wall specializes in anxiety and eating disorders and is available for clients who wish to formulate a comprehensive weight-loss or lifestyle plan and address the psychological component of eating and weight loss. General Info-

If you've made it this far you are probably looking for a fitness regimen and actual training that works, not the mindless arrays of machines and pseudo-instruction which passes for "fitness" at any major gym these days. In fact, CrossFit Elysium has no machines, period. Our goal is to provide you with effective training, the equipment and know-how to achieve the finest fitness you'll ever experience. Accordingly, it is probably better to not even think of us as a "gym" at all in the traditional sense. You will be paying for training and intensive instruction and our pricing structure reflects that. There's an old saying- "you get what you pay for" and with training that is most definitely the case. Once you experience what CrossFit Elysium can do for you you'll consider it the best money you ever spend.

We offer a free introductory session where we will explain the foundations and philosophy of CrossFit in depth, assess your level of fitness and give you an introductory exposure to a CrossFit workout. Class Schedule -

  • Weekends are reserved for individual training, the FREE Sunday noon workout, fundamentals and seminars.
  • Wish we offered a class at a different time or day? Let us know! We value your feedback and will tailor ourselves to our client's needs. New class times can offered according to demand.


Fundamentals
- $200 for the entire first month. Fundamentals are mandatory for all newcomers. You will be learning about CrossFit in a structured, semi-private class. We will cover all the basic movements and theory of CrossFit as well as build your fitness base in preparation for the regular classes. If you finish the fundamentals in under a month you have the rest of the month paid for (typically takes 2-3 weeks).

Once Fundamentals are completed, you have two options- unlimited regular classes or 1-on-1 training!

1-on-1 Private sessions - $80/session, bulk discounts are available. A coach will work with you on any of your individual fitness goals- weight loss, technique, diet, strength and so much more. If you take 3 or more private sessions a month you can also join the unlimited classes at no additional charge! Unlimited classes
-
$150/month. Exactly as it sounds- come to as many classes per day, any day we're open (see schedule above) as you wish. All classes are semi-private and capped at 10 people max to preserve the quality of coaching and your experience.

Military/LEO/Fire/Student/Active personal trainers/Active fitness instructors - $120/month, otherwise same as regular classes.

Elite class- Sundays @ 10:30am, intended for advanced athletes training for local and regional competitions. Mastery of basic movements and ability to do most if not all workouts as Rx'd is expected.

Family
(couple) - $275/month

(Note: agreements require a credit card number for discount guarantees. All credit card transactions include a small processing fee).

Drop-in (class to class) fee - $20

We offer discounts for current members of other CrossFit affiliates! We know that sometimes you'd like to be able to train at multiple affiliates without having to pay full membership rates at every place. So, if you currently are a member at another San Diego CrossFit affiliate:

  • All memberships at CrossFit Elysium will be 50% off
  • Drop-in fee is also 50% off, or ten dollars
  • You must be a full member of another San Diego CrossFit affiliate. If at any time you wish to train at CrossFit Elysium exclusively, all rates would revert to the standard rates. We do this explicitly because we want to make it clear we are not trying to "steal business" from our CrossFit brothers and sisters in San Diego. Rather, we wish to offer this convenience to you, the client.

Opt-out of fundamentals:

  • If you have completed training in CrossFit fundamentals elsewhere, you may opt-out of the required classes here at CrossFit Elysium. Prior training in CrossFit and a solid understanding of the fundamentals are expected.
  • Due to incredible demand, as of 1/15/11 an opt-out session will cost 20$. During the session we will test your knowledge of the fundamental movements of CrossFit, discuss your fitness goals and get to know you better.
